The Citi Private Banking (CPB) Data, Reporting & Analytics group is rolling out a multi-year effort to reengineer the data flows from front-to-back to support the business strategy focusing on our global clients and enabling rapid innovation. Currently implementing the platform's Data Repositories, including the design and development of CPB central master data repository representing the complexity of our clients, accounts, internal employees and other critical demographic entities describing the bank’s relationship to our clients and their wealth.
 
The graph structure will support the full range of business processes demanding party-related data which, in a private banking context, can be challenging and in certain cases impossible to achieve using a relational database technology: operations functions such as client on-boarding and account opening, front office sales activities such as prospecting, and information security requirements regarding controls on user visibility into client data amongst others.
